STATEMENTS COACH DANIELE SANTARELLI
“The team deserved a few days off, which are essential to recover our energies, more the mental ones than the physical ones because physically we are very well, but playing so many competitions and looking for new stimuli each time, we need a moment of detachment with our heads. We are looking forward to a resumption right away at a great pace, in January we will play eight games and then there will be another goal on the horizon, the Italian Cup, so let’s start again today with charged batteries to continue our beautiful season. On Sunday we have Rome, which so far has not gotten the results it wanted, despite a very good potential especially in the outside attack. In the first leg we struggled, surrendering a set, so it is a match that brings with it pitfalls and it will take a team that is already ready to inaugurate 2025 well. The response of the public I still want to emphasize, everyone wants to participate with their enthusiasm in the show of these girls who are making people experience extraordinary emotions, it is wonderful to see how the public wants to thank the team and the society with their presence and warmth, making this season even more special. Tomorrow our Palaverde will still be full, it’s incredible after the crowds on Boxing Day and December 30, it’s a show within a show and this always gives an extra boost to my team.”
