Enthusiasm skyrocketed for Prosecco DOC Imoco Conegliano’s first practice of the season this morning at Palaverde.
From 9:30 a.m., the start time of preparation, a procession of yellow-blue fans populated the Palaverde bleachers, over 400 in attendance of those who did not want to miss the first step of a season that already promises to be under the best auspices.
There was coach Santarelli who after so many years was able this season to start from day one, having returned after the Olympics with Turkey, and with his staff immediately whipped up the present one at this first training session: leading the group was capitan Asia Wolosz (eighth season as Panther), loudly applauded by her audience and then stormed along with her teammates for autographs at the end of the training and media space, with her another now veteran, Swedish Isabelle Haak in his third year in the Yellowoblù, and the season’s new additions starting with central Cristina Chirichella, one of the stars of our championship with the jersey of Novara, to move on to the young Martyna Lukasik, Polish spiker who starred with her national team at the Olympics, and Katja Eckl who returns to base after taking off from the youth sector. 
Replenishing the roster are Alessia Gennari, former Pantera about to move to the new LOVB league in the U.S., and youngster from Anderlini Modena (by virtue of close collaboration at the youth sector level) Asia Spaziano.

We will have to wait until early October instead to taste the prowess of another newcomer for the upcoming season, Chinese superstar Zhu Ting, who will complete the renewed Gialloblù roster that will make an assault on five seasonal goals: Championship, Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana (the first appointment with a trophy up for grabs on September 28 in Rome) and Champions League, four events that see Prosecco DOC Imoco as defending champions, and the big return to the World Club Championship to be held in December in China.
