Panthers at home with Pinerolo for the eighth day of the Regular Season on Sunday at 5 p.m. at Palaverde, against the “pinelle” of former Gialloblù Indre Sorokaite. An insidious team, a typical loose cannon with players that if on a good day can be a headache for anyone, the Piedmontese travel in mid-table and are fresh off a nice success against newly promoted Talmassons. In Wash4green to keep an eye on in addition to Sorokaite other experienced elements such as Polish bomber Smarzek, center Akrari, Italian director Carlotta Cambi and interesting young players such as prospect Martina Bracchi.

STATEMENTS COACH DANIELE SANTARELLI
“So far it has been a good first part of the season, although the good stuff will come later. Now we have this intense month of November with many matches, after Pinerolo we will have the away match in Milan and the Champions, then Novara, with the next goal aimed at the Club World Cup in mid-December in China. The general condition of the team is good and this is very important because it allows me to rotate the lineups, give on the one hand space to all and on the other hand to rest the athletes and also manage any aches and pains without being affected. I am trying with the staff to manage the physical and mental energies, we are inside a very intense season and so far both experienced and young players are responding very well. I’m very happy with our younger girls who have fit in really well, partly because they are entering an already tested system where it is therefore easier to get into the mechanism, and also because both Merit (Adiwge) and Katja (Eckl) were already familiar with our environment and working model, as was Anna Bardaro who has been with us longer instead. Bravo also to our veterans for immediately making them feel part of the group and accompanying them in their insertion, as is also happening with the new foreigners who have integrated wonderfully also thanks to the “mentoring” of those who were already here with us for many years.”
“Pinerolo, with whom we play on Sunday, is another opponent to be taken with caution, they have an interesting attacking game, very fast, with important terminals on fast ball that can bother anyone. On high ball they are not a very physical team, but they make up for it with speed, we will have to be clear on how to face them and make our game count. Often this year we have started well and then dropped, or we have started so-so and then grown during the match, here, I would like a more homogeneous and constant performance from the beginning to the end of the match, we are working on it and let’s see on Sunday that we will succeed, regardless of who will take the field, to make a match marked by continuity.”
