DICHIARAZIONI COACH DANIELE SANTARELLI
“Monviso is another tough opponent, it’s never easy to play for them. They have a new team, renewed compared to the past. They are playing a good championship, they are a fearsome and respectable opponent, like everyone, in A1 every game is really complicated. They have good potential in attack, they are balanced and, despite the absence of the setter, they are playing good volleyball at the beginning of the season. After the Super Cup we will have to start again with momentum, trying to be much more aggressive in attack, varying the shots, but above all we will need to be ready in defense, an aspect that is too important in volleyball that counts and fundamental for our game system. These two fundamentals cannot be ignored if we want to win games. It will be a difficult week, after the Super Cup we want to make up for it immediately, after Monviso we will have a good challenge in Novara, there are two important tests for our team. Zhu’s absence? It was expected, we have a large and quality squad, it will be a good opportunity to prove it.”
