Saturday 22 November in the match with Il Bisonte Firenze at 20.30 there will be the first Social Day of the season promoted by VTV Volley – Comitato Cuoredarena.
It starts with “A soft toy for a smile” in favor of the LILT association – Playing in the lane.

Bisonte Firenze, there will be space for an important moment of solidarity. For many years, the friends of “Giocare in corsia” of LILT, the Italian League for the Fight against Cancer, have been guests at the Palaverde on the occasion of a championship match. This year they will be in the company of “Mauricio”, the cuddly plush hedgehog mascot of the charity initiative. By purchasing Mauricio you help support the activities of the volunteers of Giocare in corsia.
In 1994 a group of volunteers within LILT, after a brief but intense experience with a young patient, decided to give life to the animation project Playing in the Ward. The primary objective was and is to use play to make the hospital environment less foreign and difficult in the eyes of children. The journey began in the Pediatrics department of the Ca’ Foncello Hospital in Treviso. Since then, the group has grown and been enriched with new volunteers, has deepened issues on pain and trained people capable of offering children the ways to better cope with their hospital stay; since 2007 the activity has also extended to the pediatrics department of the Hospital in Conegliano; in 2009 the “Isola Serena” project was launched and since 2011 a collaboration has begun with the Cancer Hospitals of Kiev in Ukraine and Novosibirsk in Siberia.
Godmothers of the Social Day are Serena Scognamillo, Joanna Asia Wolosz, Marina Lubian and Gabriela Guimaraes “Gabi”. Before the kick-off of the match, the traditional photo will be taken on the pitch with LILT volunteers and a representation of Cuoredarena fans.
The invitation is to support this Social day, by going to the stalls set up by the LILT – Giocare in Corsia association to treat yourself or Mauricio, or for a small offer that represents a great help for the association. Not only cheering for VTV Volley – Cuoredarena Committee but also social commitment and support for local associations.
