To see you 2025, you will remain in our memories. The year of the eighth Scudetto, the seventh Italian Cup and the third CEV Champions League closes with the start of the fourth seasonal competition for Prosecco DOC A. Carraro Imoco Conegliano which hosts Bergamo in a packed Palaverde for the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa. Up for grabs is a place in the Final Four on January 24 and 25 at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, the Panthers are holders of the trophy.

Coach Daniele Santarelli chooses Wolosz on the dribble and Haak opposite, Gabi and Zhu are the spikers, Fahr and Chirichella are the middles, De Gennaro the libero. On the other side, coach Cervellin’s orobic team started with Eze, Kipp, Mosser, Bolzonetti, Manfredini, Meli and Armini free.

Heated dispute at the Palaverde since the first set, Haak breaks the initial balance giving the maximum advantage to the Panthers in the partial (15-12), with Chirichella’s fast of 13-11 Wolosz has already engaged all the forwards (10 points and 3 blocks for the middle at the end). When the match gets back in balance Daalderop gives life to the yellow-blue second line (19-19), Adigwe is called into question to unhinge the opponent’s reception (24-24), Haak has the ace in the barrel that gives the first set point to Prosecco DOC (12 points with 61% in the set), after a very long push and pull Bergamo goes ahead (26-28).

It is De Gennaro’s dizzying defenses that give the first significant margin to the Panthers in the second set (8-4), Fahr lights up after the return of Bergamo, good at capitalizing even the first half that leads to 20-15 (3 points in the set for the center, she will end up at 11 with 71% in attack). In the middle it is the serves of Zhu and Wolosz to dig the furrow, Haak returns with arrogance when it counts (22-18), also scoring the set point that brings parity (25-21).

Palaverde explodes with joy on Chirichella’s block at the opening of the third set (4-1), Daalderop inaugurates his match in attack (6-2). Fahr’s block and Prosecco DOC doubled the opponents (10-5), Gabi pulls out of the hat the 13-7 (5 of the carioca in the set, 15 at the end for the superstar), Daalderop slips the decisive stretch towards 2-1 (18-9): Haak and Fahr raise the wall, it closes on 25-14.

Gabi grows with the passing of the exchanges, there is a precious save by Daalderop on the first advantage of the fourth set (8-7). It is the Dutchman who fixes the first break of advantage between block and attack (13-10), Wolosz clears the opponent’s defense with the second half and serves Chirichella for 16-12. Scognamillo is called into question to serve in the action that leads to the wall of the same Neapolitan (21-19), Gabi sounds the charge (23-21), it is always the Brazilian who puts down the match point that is worth the semifinal (25-23). The MVP of the match is Haak, amazing with 28 points.

The 2026 of Prosecco DOC starts with a bang: on Sunday 4 January at 6 pm at the Palaverde comes the Igor Gorgonzola Novara (he will be the opponent of the semi-finals of the Italian Cup in Turin), the last tickets available online on Vivaticket.com for the match valid for the 5th return day of the Regular Season of the Serie A1 Tigotà.
