Sunday volleyball towards the play-offs: Prosecco DOC A. Carraro Imoco Conegliano, certain of first place in the Regular Season in the championship, hosts Bartoccini-Mc Restauri Perugia in search of salvation points on the 12th day of the second round of Serie A1 Tigotà. It is a flourishing of initiatives in the context of the Palaverde race, it is the day of a new Social Day Cuoredarena– A heart for autism: today’s dedication is for Beyond the Labyrinth Foundation with godmothers of the event the Panthers Sillah, Munarini, Zhu, De Gennaro and Daalderop. Prosecco DOC in search of the best polish with the time-out called by coach Santarelli after Gennari’s ace, then Munarini scores on serve and Lubian blocks (14-15); Daalderop overcomes the wall (the Dutchman makes 14), Fiesoli keeps his distance, but Adigwe has other ideas (21-21, 6 points and 2 blocks for the opposite in the set). In the final Perugia passes, the 1-1 is signed by Gardini.
Perugia keeps its foot pressed on the accelerator with Markovic, then Sillah equalizes (6-6). Munarini unlocks at the wall (8-10), coach Santarelli draws from the bench to put Wolosz, Haak and Fahr. From here the match returns to the yellow-blue tracks : Haak shuffles the cards (18-13, 5 points on 6 balls attacked for the Swede, she will end up with 11 centers without mistakes), Sillah holes from place 4 and Lubian closes the third set on 25-17.
Gennari’s block at the opening of the fourth set (2-3), Sillah continues on the standards in attack (7-7, 22 points and MVP title for the Slovenian). Gardini is lucky with the pipe and with the service (7-12), coach Santarelli makes the double change to re-establish the trend, Micoli responds with Kump and Turla, complete with an ace for the director (12-17). Immediate partial for Prosecco DOC (17-17), Gardini scores another heavy point, Mazzaro finds the ace (21-24): Zhu enters and cancels two set points, Haak gives a match point to Conegliano, on 26-24 Lubian explodes the Palaverde.
