DICHIARAZIONI COACH DANIELE SANTARELLI
“It’s an exciting time of the season: every three days there is a fascinating race on the calendar, against international opponents. In the first leg against Zeren we found a strong team, but we came out victorious by playing an excellent game. On Sunday we played against a Novara team that has different characteristics, we showed few lows and many highs: it was an intense week, beautiful from a volleyball point of view also thanks to the results we collected. But what we have achieved so far only counts to give us a further push towards the next appointments, what matters now is to prepare for tomorrow’s match in the Champions League and for Game 2 in Novara, focusing on the first. We can’t relax, but we have to find concentration game by game: we are recovering all the pieces, Gabi and Munarini will be with us. Zeren have excellent strikers, we remember the home game against them, the most difficult of the three previous seasons: if we do not face them with maximum concentration we know the risks that follow, we will be called upon to play close to perfection. We have to start well to bring the public to our side in the last Champions League match at the Palaverde this year, we want to win the Final Four as the new goal of our season “.
