Second and final stage of the Piedmontese tour for the Panthers: Prosecco DOC A. Carraro Imoco Conegliano challenges Igor Gorgonzola Novara on the 5th day of the Regular Season. It is played tomorrow, Saturday 25 October, at the Pala Igor in Novara at 20:30. Coach Santarelli’s team stops in 1st place in the standings in cohabitation with Novara and Savino del Bene Scandicci at 11 points. In Wednesday’s match in Villafranca Piemonte against Monviso Volley, the Panthers won 3-0, after tomorrow night’s match they return to Conegliano. Except for Zhu Ting in China for the Chinese National Games, a full team for coach Daniele Santarelli.
PREVIOUS AND FORMER: It will be the 61st match between the two teams, on 46 occasions Conegliano has had the upper hand. “The season has come to life and the commitments follow one another at a furious pace, the advances planned as a result of our commitments in December in the World Cup have put us in a tour de force, but as we have always done in these cases we think game by game and now we only have our heads on tomorrow’s match in Novara. It will be a good test against a strong team, undoubtedly one of the big names in the league that has confirmed itself as such even at the beginning of the season. After the Super Cup and the match against Monviso we stayed in Piedmont and we are recovering our energy, we face Novara who is at the top of the standings, a team built to do very well and try to win, they have a large and complete roster, it will be a good challenge as between tradition between us and Igor. In the Piedmontese sports hall there will be a lot of public to follow a match with many champions on the field, for us this big match will be another opportunity to grow.
