DAY 1 AT THE PALAVERDE, 500 FANS WELCOME THE PANTHERS’ FIRST STEPS IN THE 2025/26 SEASON
Here we are, the 2025/26 season has begun: Prosecco DOC Antonio Carraro resumed its activity for the first training session at Palaverde, in front of 500 fans, who celebrated the gathering with their affection. Large presence in the stands to follow the first session directed by the deputy Tommaso Barbato, assisted by the trainer Marco Da Lozzo in the first morning operations.
President Piero Garbellotto greeted all the Panthers and the yellow-blue supporters: “We are starting again with great enthusiasm for this new season, together with Prosecco DOC a world is moving between staff, players and sponsors who are rowing in the same direction. Congratulations to Pietro Maschio who has once again set up a competitive roster. We can still dream after all these years of success, it is also thanks to the fans if we sink our roots into the club, for a team that remains international.”
Asia Wolosz leads the group as captain: “It’s the ninth season for me here, I can’t wait to talk to all the new ones and get to know the girls in the academy. We are working hard right away to build another great season, we will cheer for all our teammates and coach Santarelli at the World Cup, I never thought I would play so long in Conegliano, I am very happy”.
Marina Lubian will wear the yellow-blue jersey for the fourth season: “Finally after a long summer we are back to work, I am very excited to find my teammates and to resume the routine on and off the pitch. I hug all the fans who came to visit us, there are so many, their support at the Palaverde is essential for us”.
Cristina Chirichella is one of the big names present at the meeting: “I am ready to live my second year here, I know the club and I am already at ease after a season in which I understood all the dynamics. We are happy to start at Palaverde, a building that has also become my home”.
Jenna Ewert presents herself in Conegliano as the new setter: “I am a competitive one, from the outside the Prosecco DOC Antonio Carraro is fascinating for the professionalism and the desire to win, both of the staff and of the teammates. Very happy to work alongside Wolosz, many Americans have done well here and I want to do the same.”
Matilde Munarini reinforces the central department after an Azzurri summer that ended with the victory of the Universiade: “How nice to win with Italy, like Fahr, De Gennaro and Adigwe. I have already made my debut here, but I am more mature, I have gained experience and I am no longer a girl. Every teammate here can teach me something, I can’t wait to get to know them all well.”
Serena Scognamillo arrives as a libero after a long apprenticeship: “I will meet Moki later, for us libero he is a reference and an idol.
