DICHIARAZIONI COACH DANIELE SANTARELLI
“We are experiencing an incredible and very exciting month of January: against Novara we played the first of a very long series of games, we hope to add another one to the 8 already scheduled by hitting the Coppa Italia final in Turin, which will be the first trophy we will play for from now on in chronological order. But there will be time to think about it, we have to look at it one step at a time and now we fly to Lodz for a very important commitment. Away in Champoions there are always pitfalls, Lodz is a team that we have not yet faced, they have excellent elements and at home they express themselves to the best of their potential, so tomorrow night we really cannot afford to let our guard down. Then we will find a difficult championship triptych with Chieri, Bergamo and Vallefoglia, all teams that play excellent volleyball with which we cannot afford not to give our best. In the meantime, we are focused on tomorrow’s match to continue our European journey, the Champions League is a competition with a unique charm, we care a lot and tomorrow I want a convinced performance, we have to impose our game so as not to take risks. We travel on the day of the Epiphany, I hope that our fans have experienced peaceful holidays: I take this opportunity to thank them for the support they have made us feel in the last games, we are proud to see thousands of fans who find the time to come to the Palaverde to see us on every occasion”.
