IMOCO NEXT GEN: START OF THE COLLABORATION WITH CHIONS-FIUME VOLLEY

With great enthusiasm Imoco Volley announces, in the week that will once again bring great volleyball to Friuli at the Pordenone Tournament, that it has entered into a collaboration with one of the most important realities of the Friulian and national youth scene. CHIONS – FIUME VOLLEY (CFV) officially joins IMOCO NEXT_GEN Center, the flagship of the youth project of the yellow-blue club dedicated to the development of young talents.

With the Imoco Volley San Donà groups as a point of reference and the Volley Pool Piave as a direct support company for the youth of the “pantherine”, CFV joins the Anderlini Modena Volleyball School, Volley Friends Roma and Visette Milano, to strengthen and enrich a structure with solid foundations and well-defined objectives.

President Piero Garbellotto talks once again about how you can “team up” even off the court: “With the entry of Chions Fiume Volley, our project expands further, bringing together some of the clubs most traditionally focused on youth volleyball. Friuli-Venezia Giulia, a region dear to me because I work in Sacile, is a territory rich in history and love for volleyball and we, as a reference club in the Northeast, have always been aware of how important it was to invest in the territory”.

“Personally I am very happy with this agreement”, said the manager of the Imoco Volley cantera Silvia Giovanardi, “I have known the president Massimo Callegari and the sports director Emilio Basso for many years, even before arriving in Conegliano, and I have always been convinced of their passion and competence in working on young people. Having found a way to collaborate is further proof of how mutual esteem can create something very beautiful. This is a new step towards the Friulian territory, with a look also at other important ties such as the one already born between CHIONS – FIUME VOLLEY and Talmassons in past seasons, which does not end with the new agreement”

Massimo Callegari, president of Chions – Fiume Volley, does not hide his enthusiasm looking to the future: “We are very proud that our work has captured the attention of Imoco Volley: the entry into the Next_Gen Network, in particular on the Center project, is the demonstration that even a small territory like Friuli-Venezia Giulia can give quality and important opportunities to our athletes. Knowing the skills and motivation of each CFV component, I am sure that this collaboration will bring new energy and new ideas to improve us further”

“We are sure that this collaboration can become an important opportunity for the exchange of ideas and experiences”, continues the Friulian sports director Emilio Basso, “our company, like Imoco Volley, invests a lot in youth volleyball by building high-level proposals for our girls. This synergy gives a further opportunity to the athletes of our territory to have a qualitative path close to home for each step of their growth. We are happy and enthusiastic about all this and we also believe that the constant comparison between our two clubs can lead to improvement and innovation, two fundamental concepts in modern volleyball”
