It starts today with an afternoon departure for Umbria the mini-tour of Prosecco DOC Imoco Volleyball, which has two more consecutive away matches on its calendar, tomorrow, Thursday, 8:30 p.m. at PalaBarton in Perugia against Bartoccini, the advance of the 13th day (scheduled in December when the Panthers will be in China for the World Cup) and Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in the capital against Roma Volley (both matches live on DAZN). Given the geographical location, after tomorrow’s match in Perugia the Italian champions will remain in Umbria on Friday, with training scheduled in nearby Foligno, the hometown of coach Daniele Santarelli.
Saturday more training in Foligno and departure for Rome with a detour to the RAI studios for Sarah Fahr and Cristina Chirichella who will participate live at 6 p.m. in the Telethon charity marathon.
The team will travel full, tomorrow in the challenge to the newly promoted for the first time will be in the squad (on the bench, not yet usable on the court) also the Chinese Zhu Ting who thus goes to complete the season roster of Prosecco DOC Imoco Volley. REFERENCES: Clemente and Piana

STATEMENTS COACH DANIELE SANTARELLI
“It’s a good feeling for me to come back home and play in Umbria where there will be family and friends who will support me, it’s always a great pleasure. Plus we took advantage of the calendar to stay and train in my Foligno, it will be 20 years since I have been back in my city’s palazzetto and I will experience strong emotions, we will train in the gym I walked on as a boy, it will be a beautiful day. I thank the municipality and the people in charge of the arena for the
availability, it will make an impression on me to do training there with so many friends and familiar faces.
Tomorrow’s game will not be easy, Perugia is a newly promoted team of depth, it was also seen on Sunday with Vallefoglia, they have physicality and good forwards, they will try to score points and we must never drop the intensity, as we also saw in the first two games. We are working well in training and we are trying to fix some situations of the game and some fundamentals that we are not yet succeeding at our best, we have a long way ahead and I ask matches like this one and the one also in Rome on Sunday to give us the chance to check the steps forward, one step at a time to get to the best condition.”
