Tenth championship match for the Panthers: in the midweek of A1 the Prosecco DOC A.Carraro Imoco Conegliano visits the Cbf Balducci Hr Macerata at the Fontescodella sports hall. It is the 9th day of the Regular Season, Wolosz and her teammates lead the standings in first place with nine victories. But today’s challenge has a special flavor, coach Daniele Santarelli finds the trusted Valerio Lionetti in official matches, in the yellow-blue staff from 2017 to 2024.

Coach Santarelli thus shuffles the cards in a November full of games: Ewert and Haak form the diagonal, Gabi and Daalderop are the wings, Chirichella and Lubian are the middles, Scognamillo is the libero. Sarah Farh remains in Conegliano for precautionary rest. On the other side, coach Lionetti chooses Bonelli on the dribble and Decortes opposite, Kokkonen and Kockarevic are the wings, Clothier and Mazzon are the middle, Bresciani is the libero.

Macerata wants to look good in front of its fans and holds on at the start, taking the lead, then Daalderop proves to be a guarantee on serve when the Panthers place a partial of 8-0 to direct the set (7-13, closed by Gabi). Ewert leads a safe attack in the center, Lubian slips the 10-17 (6 points combined in the partial for the middle blockers with 75% in attack), while Haak closes the longest exchange of the set, the one that is worth 15-23. It is always the Swede who signs the 0-1 (16-25, 11 points for the opposite with 52% in attack).

Everything goes smoothly in the yellow-blue half of the court in the second set: there is a miraculous save with Gabi’s foot for Haak’s 1-4, Lubian doubles the distances in one of his 11 points (5-10, he will also close with 1 ace, 71% per point and 0 offensive errors). The first block of Prosecco DOC bears the signature of Chirichella (8-17), Ewert finds Haak on autopilot and places one of the 5 points of his evening with the 10-24 block, the 2-0 comes with a service error. Six Panthers score at least 2 points in the partial, in an attack that turns with 50% and a positive reception of Scognamillo and her teammates at 80%.

The third set is long and balanced, the Panthers serve in the coldest version: Lubian churns out the ace of 3-6, Gabi is glacial in two break points, first for 8-10 and then for 14-16. Daalderop creates havoc with his serve and draws the ace of 17-18, Lubian gives what will be the first of 4 yellow-blue match points. Adigwe and Wolosz replace the starting diagonal, which returns perky in the final. Gabi closes the accounts, on the cover for yet another heavy point of the match, it is that of 26-28 which is worth 3-0 and 3 points in the standings for Prosecco DOC Antonio Carraro Imoco.

Prosecco DOC is now awaited by four appointments in a row within the friendly walls: Sunday Scandicci, then Busto Arsizio on Wednesday 19 November, Saturday 22 November against Bisonte Firenze and Tuesday 25 against Ankara Zeren Spor for the debut in the CEV Zeren Group Champions League. For all Palaverde matches, tickets are already available online on the Vivatciket.com website.
