The Perazza Calendar solidarity initiative continues with its eighth edition. Once again this year, in fact, athletes from Benetton Rugby, Nutribullet Treviso Basket, Prosecco DOC Imoco Volleyball served as models for the photo shoots that were used to make the charity calendars. The goal is to collect donations in support of children undergoing treatment at the IOV – Istituto Oncologico Veneto and at the pediatrics of Treviso Hospital.
For the 2025 calendar there is one more novelty: the collaboration with ENPA ODV – Ente Nazionale Protezione Animali section of Treviso. In each photo, in fact, players pose with dogs and cats that, in many cases, come right from the facilities in the area run by the organization that takes care of stray or abandoned animals. With this choice, Calendario Perazza adds to the usual charitable purpose of raising funds for health centers that assist children also an awareness-raising action on the conscious adoption of animals. The star athletes enthusiastically conveyed the message. They all posed with great naturalness: some, indeed, involved their animals, showing how much they are part of their lives and emphasizing the importance of taking care of them. The collaboration between Perazza srl, the communication agency promoting the project, sports teams and ENPA ODV section of Treviso allowed for shots that were both professional and decidedly spontaneous, in an increasingly transversal solidarity project. The initiative is by now a regular and highly anticipated event, supported by a well-coordinated working group: flanking Perazza srl are the Consorzio di Tutela della DOC Prosecco as main sponsor, Volksbank as financial supporter, DebbyLine as logistic partner and Imoco Group, L’Artegrafica and Mega Production as technical partners. They are also joined for the 2025 edition by WOC, official formal wear partner of Benetton Rugby, So Treviso and Sorelle Ramonda, already involved last year. The three realities dress respectively the green-and-white lions, the basketball players of Nutribullet Treviso Basket and the panthers of Prosecco Doc Imoco Volley in some of the selected shots. As usual, the City of Treviso also supports Calendario Perazza with its official sponsorship. In past editions, the initiative has raised a total of more than 160,000 euros, including 30,640 in 2024. Last year the amount was donated in equal parts to IOV – Istituto Oncologico Veneto Oncology Institute and the pediatrics department of Treviso Hospital and was used to purchase state-of-the-art machinery for the care of children and to support activities to alleviate the hardships of pediatric hospitalization. The link with the two medical facilities continues this year, giving continuity to the collaboration. The online sale of the calendars will kick off from Nov. 20 on the website calendarioperazza.it. Copies can also be purchased at stadiums and sports arenas during the matches of the
teams involved.
Riccardo Perazza, owner of Perazza srl, accompanies the launch of the calendars this way:
“This yearthe awareness goals and the working group have expanded, thanks to the entry of ENPAODV section of Treviso and new partners. This is an evolution that means a lot to us, because
testifies to how our project has become, over time, an increasingly shared initiative.
I would like to thank once again the teams, sponsors, and businesses that continue to support us, as well as the
fans and enthusiasts who always respond with great enthusiasm to the invitation to donate.” Thus Giancarlo Guidolin, President of the Consortium for the Protection of Prosecco DOC:
“We confirm our support for this initiative certain that also this year it will demonstrate, perhaps with even greater vigor, the sensitivity already shown in previous editions by the many who, by purchasing the calendar, participate in this race of solidarity. Because there is no nobler gesture than the help offered to children in need.” “Volksbank renews for the third year its commitment to this important charitable initiative, which among its various objectives is to give concrete help to health centers for all those sick children facing periods of pediatric hospitalization. This action is perfectly in tune with the strong focus on the social sphere and the most fragile categories of the population, themes present in the I-mpact 2026 Business Plan and which will continue to guide us
in the future,” says Vittorio Pucella, Director of the Treviso and Pordenone Area of
Volksbank.
Benetton Rugby President Amerino Zatta emphasizes, “Once again this year we are proud to support the Perazza Calendar with all our enthusiasm and participation. Our team, together with the entire Benetton Rugby team, the athletes of the other participating teams, the partners and all the members of the working group, are actively committed to support this initiative. We decided to join because we deeply share the values of solidarity, mutual support and human closeness that have always animated this project. We wish to make a concrete contribution to the valuable activities carried out in favor of the Veneto Oncology Institute and the pediatric ward of the Treviso hospital. We believe it is our duty, as a team and as a community, to put our energies and resources at the disposal of those in need, especially the youngest who face delicate and difficult situations.”
“It is an initiative we care a lot about and participate in every year with great enthusiasm. For our kids it’s a day a little different from usual and for the club it’s one more opportunity to support charitable projects in support of the territory,” explains Giovanni Favaro, General Manager of Nutribullet Treviso Basket. Of the same tenor is the comment of the President of Prosecco DOC Imoco Volleyball, Piero Garbellotto: “By now, the;appointment with the Perazza Calendar has become a must for the Christmas season and this year too we have enthusiastically joined in to make our contribution to the charitable purpose. Our Panthers have fun and get involved to do good thanks to the ‘commitment of Riccardo Perazza and his staff of excellent professionals.” Valentina Perin, Enpa Veneto ODV regional contact person, greets the organization’s involvement in the project this way , “The philosophy of this calendar fully espouses Enpa Odv’s ideals: helping fragile groups, in this case children, and the fundamental message of conscious adoption. Because a home should be forever, but it can only be when you decide responsibly and, possibly, following a shared path of adoption in a Shelter. It was wonderful to see the naturalness of the players with our animals: they were more focused on cuddling them than having their picture taken. There was utmost care by all the staff in ensuring their well-being: for our part, we had professionals on hand and proposed dogs and cats that were sociable and well disposed. Nowadays, communication aimed at pity often makes a lot of noise: we are keen to send a positive message that promotes the dignity of animals and their beauty.”
Luca Pavin, owner of logistics company DebbyLine comments:
“We are proud to confirm our partnership with Perazza Calendar for the 2025 edition. Once again this year we will deliver copies of the calendars directly to the homes of those who purchase them online, at no cost. A small gesture on our part to support a cause close to our hearts: helping sick children. We are thrilled to be part of such an important and growing project.”
