DICHIARAZIONI COACH DANIELE SANTARELLI“The results of the last round should not be misleading, Milan is a very strong opponent and we know it well, they will play at home and will do everything to put us in difficulty again and not run into the second consecutive defeat. We know that the value of the opponent is very high, the Super Cup in October has already shown it and now we will have to do the best we can to bring home the full spoils. But at this stage of the championship the results count for the right, they are functional on the one hand to build the position in the standings and on the other to progress in the growth of the team alchemy, to be on point in the coming months when the next goals arrive.
But winning helps to win, getting a full result at home to Milan would mean acquiring a boost of energy and awareness that is not insignificant. We are recovering all the pieces, Sarah Fahr will also be available after some time. Dpomani, however, will be a spectacular match, a beautiful appointment for Italian volleyball that does not stop even during the holidays to give everyone the opportunity to see these champions play in these days of vacation. The sports hall has already been full for some time and there will be as always many of our away fans, we always feel them close. There are 7 coaches of our supporters ready to make their voices heard at the arena, we want to give them joy in tomorrow’s big match too. We spent a Christmas all together in the gym preparing for this appointment, the girls are pretty focused and are working well to keep up with a calendar, as usual, very intense. I hope that all our fans have spent a peaceful December 25th, healthy and with their loved ones, tomorrow we are back on the field and we are ready, then see you on the 30th at the Palaverde!”.
