STATEMENTS BY COACH STEFANO GREGORIS
“They called me to tell me that I had won the award, I was excited: in the jury there are several leading figures of the Italian movement, receiving this recognition fills me with pride. It was a personal title I aspired to, I thank Imoco Volley and Volley Pool Piave for helping to win the Maltinti award. I’m back from a first and wonderful experience in the national team, wearing the Italy shirt every day is something fantastic. I never get tired of winning collective awards, but I feel great satisfaction to see so many athletes make their way in volleyball, contributing to their personal and sporting growth is fantastic. Now I will be able to rest a bit, on August 27 our season will resume, but I will follow the First Team to the Palaverde initially to be close to some girls I coached last season”.
