STATEMENTS BY COACH DANIELE SANTARELLI
“The Courmayeur Cup is the right test before the start of the championship. In the pre-season we faced stronger and stronger opponents, alternating positive things with others that we have to correct with the work in the gym. We will play against the four sisters, the teams best equipped to aspire to win the Scudetto. The team is doing well and they are all available, we will play immediately against Novara, it will be nice to start against a strong and prepared team. We go for the second time to Courmayeur, a wonderful location, last year it brought us well and had shown that 4 were already well underway: we hope to see a nice setting of the public at the arena, I hope it will be another good event for Italian volleyball fans. It will be a useful tournament for us to grow and to show what level the Italian championship is at.”
