STATEMENTS COACH DANIELE SANTARELLI
“I am satisfied with yesterday’s match in Perugia, there was obviously a technical difference with our opponents, but beyond the win I am really pleased with how the team interpreted the match with attention to detail and a solid approach from the start. Despite the changes in the lineup there was balance and a mature management of the match in every fundamental. Another step forward that we will now have to confirm in the next match, again away from home in Rome. The Capitoline team is no longer a surprise,is equipped to make a good championship, playing in that palasport is not easy, so it will take another tough and careful game, in the wake of what we did in Perugia. I have several alternatives for the starting sextet, on Sunday we will decide with the staff with which set-up to take the court, but regardless of who will play I expect further progress.
These are very special days for me here in my home, coming out of the usual routine. To spend two days with the team in my city with my family and friends is a dream, today we will be received in the City Hall and tomorrow at the ‘training there will be a lot of people to celebrate the team and myself, a great excitement and an extra charge for me.”
