Prosecco DOC Imoco Conegliano is pleased to announce the confirmation of Gabi for the 2025/26 season, the last prized piece of the yellow-blue roster. The 31-year-old Brazilian spiker, 181 cm, will still wear the number 1 jersey of the Panthers.
In yellow-blue Gabriela Braga Guimaraes confirmed her fame as a world superstar, her class and charisma hit like a cyclone on the Italian championship and beyond: 5 trophies in one season, MVP of the championship finals and best spiker of the Champions League, the Belo Horizonte gang left no doubt about her value after the excellent experiences in her Brazil with Minas and Rio de Janeiro, before the golden landing at Vakifbank Istanbul, in addition to the 7 golds and two Olympic medals put around his neck with the Brazilian national team.
Gabi has not only been decisive in attack in the 48 games played in yellow and blue thanks to her 544 points with 47% offensive, but also thanks to her providential defenses and her surgical reception, combined with leadership and unique shots that have bewitched audiences all over Europe. Not only at the Palaverde, but also in the opponents’ fields, Gabi was applauded and praised by the public and fans, a real attraction that has always repaid the attention with exceptional performances and shots.

In the first season in Conegliano I was very impressed by the organization of the club, I came from Vakif and I didn’t expect to find level facilities between gyms and fitness, we don’t have to worry about anything but going on the field and doing the best we can. Here the mentality is the right one: wanting to improve every day, taking care of yourself and others, the key is to go in one direction as a team, from the players to the staff.
I learned that hard work always pays off, everything was said that we were favorites everywhere and that we had to win, but then the court counts, what you give counts, it was all very challenging. We all knew that we had to work better than the previous day to achieve great results and that all the opponents are there trying in every way to hinder us.
