STATEMENTS ANNA PIOVESAN
“I used to come to see the Prosecco DOC matches when I was eight years old, imagine the emotion and satisfaction of being a Panther, a childhood dream come true. I am very happy to be back home, especially to enjoy my family: we are all very sporty and have always followed volleyball, obviously their satisfaction to see me in Conegliano is immense. I had booked 70 tickets the last time I came to the Palaverde as an opponent! I think it can give an idea of the affection I receive from those around me. I am very excited to wear this shirt, I will give everything I have.
I want to be as useful as possible to my teammates and have a lot of fun. I know that a very intense season awaits us, so I am ready for anything, obviously the motivation is very high and I know that I will have to make an important growth. I feel ready to take this step forward, I arrive in a completely different reality, I know that I will have to be patient, learn, work hard to deserve the place in this club which is the top for any player.
I am a person who would like everything and immediately, but here I will have to observe, learn, commit and grow step by step. It is a path that I will face with enthusiasm and I can’t wait to start it.
I know Linda Manfredini thanks to the national team, other girls as opponents, but I can’t wait to shake hands with Fahr, Gabi, Haak and all the others. Among all, I am really curious to meet Moki De Gennaro: everyone has spoken well of him for the person who is off the field, as a player there is no need to introduce her.
I chose number 8 again, the same one I had in San Giovanni. It’s actually the number I’ve always played with, because it’s the one from the first jersey they assigned me when I was in the youth team: I found it again in Serie A, now I’m holding on to it.”
