The initiative consolidates the path that the Corepla Consortium is pursuing in the world of volleyball for the selective collection of plastic bottles with the RecoPet project.
COREPLA and Prosecco DOC Imoco Volley Conegliano have signed a two-year collaboration agreement to promote the selective collection and recycling of PET plastic bottles. As part of the agreement, the Consortium assumes the status of Green Partner of the sports club.
The partnership involves the installation of a RecoPet eco-compactor inside the Palaverde in Villorba. The goal is to promote bottle-to-bottle recycling, i.e. the transformation of used beverage bottles (water, soft drinks, juices, milk) into new raw material that can be used for the production of new bottles.

The debut of the collaboration at the Palaverde
The installation of the eco-compactor came into full operation on the occasion of the first home match of the season, played on Saturday 10 October. The fans present at the arena, in fact, were able to give their PET bottles to obtain prizes and dedicated gadgets.
The RecoPet model
The initiative consolidates the path that COREPLA is pursuing in the world of volleyball to raise awareness among the public of sporting events on the issues of collection and recycling. The operation of the system is based on the active involvement of fans: by inserting the bottles in the eco-compactor and through the RecoPet app, separate collection becomes an immediate, incentivized and measurable action.
In addition to the collection infrastructure, the two-year agreement includes specific initiatives such as the setting up of a contact and information point reserved for fans.
