STATEMENTS BY FATOUMATTA SILLAH
“My first year in Conegliano was an incredible experience. Joining one of the best teams in the world has been both exciting and challenging, but from day one I felt welcomed by my teammates, the coaching staff and everyone who works for the club. I learned so much every day in training, playing alongside world-class athletes, and I feel like I’ve grown a lot both as a player and as a person. Playing in the arenas of the Italian championship and, in particular, in our Palaverde, gave me an extra push to make the most of it and to give joy to our fans.

I expect next season to be even more challenging and exciting. After my first year I feel more confident and better prepared to give my contribution to the team. Every season with a club like Prosecco DOC brings with it high expectations and I look forward to fighting for every trophy. My personal goal is to continue to improve in every aspect of my game, gain experience at the highest level and make the most of every opportunity I have on the court.

I will spend most of the summer with the Slovenian national team: we have big dreams that we want to achieve this summer and we are really excited. But I can’t wait to return to the Palaverde in September to work again with my teammates and to return to compete with the Panthers jersey. See you soon!”
