-SPECTACULAR DAY FOR THE PROSECCO DOC IMOCO VOLLEY ON A TRIP TO THE WONDERS OF THE DOLOMITES
A special day of rest for the Panthers, who took advantage of the day of relaxation within the week of intense work at high altitude in Alleghe for a full immersion in the Dolomites, favored by a spectacular day. Guests of the mayor of Alleghe Danilo De Toni, who in the afternoon also received an official delegation of athletes and staff led by Asia Wolosz) and led by the councilor with responsibility for sport Morena Stefanon, Panthers, Panthers and staff early in the morning went up by cable car from Malga Ciapela to 3,265 meters above sea level of the Marmolada, the “Queen of the Dolomites”, from which they admired a breathtaking skyline.

After the snack at Camping Marmolada, the day continued with a walk in the suggestive “canyon” of the Serrai di Sottoguda, then to Lake Alleghe to climb to the Piani di Pezzè (this year the evocative arrival of a superstage of the Giro d’Italia) and from there by cable car to the 2000 meters of the famous Col dei Baldi refuge where you can have lunch on the spectacular panoramic terrace with the opportunity for a nice sunbath for De Gennaro and her companions, before returning to the base at the Hotel Venezia where in the evening the team will watch on TV the teammates engaged in the European quarter-final between Sarah Fahr’s Italy and Merit Adigwe and Isabelle Haak’s Sweden.

A beautiful day lived intensely by the Panthers in the crisp air of the Belluno Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, thanks to the splendid hospitality of the municipal administration of Alleghe and the community, which welcomed the champions of Prosecco DOC Imoco Volley with enthusiasm, also evidenced by the large presence at the afternoon training at the gym in Caprile (tomorrow the girls of Volley Agordino will also be present) retreat that will end on Saturday with the friendly in Sedico at 16.30 with Trentino Volley.

It was a beautiful day, we found beautiful weather and it was exciting to climb up to the Marmolada to enjoy the show says captain Asia Wolosz, “escorted” on the trip by her dog Teddy – I like the mountains so much and the Dolomites in particular, often on my days off I come for a ride, even in winter, I enjoy the air here and the beautiful landscapes. We are working hard these days in training, doing it here in the mountains in the cool is a nice novelty, we thank everyone for their kindness and hospitality.”

China’s Zhu Ting also appreciates “I am originally from a mountain area in China, so I feel very good here, these mountains are fantastic, then I like quiet and uncrowded places, so for me it is ideal.”
