Last of the CEV Zeren Group Champions League pool: Antonio Carrario Prosecco DOC Conegliano receives the Polish LKS Commercecon Lodz at the Palaverde. With the quarterfinals of the competition already in the bag, the Panthers aim to have the best score and the best set quotient for a favorable pairing in the knockout phase of the competition. Before the match, Gabi, Panther of the month of January by Da Ros Green, is awarded.

Adigwe enters the match with the 23-17 block, Haak signs the 2-0 (25-18, 7 centers for the Swede in the set with a monstrous 86%). Lethal panthers in all the fundamentals: 9 blocks and 7 team aces for Antonio Carraro in the evening.

Sillah starts off on the right foot biting from the serve and the pipe, Wolosz gives a chocolate that Haak discards (6-2, 13 points and the MVP title for the Swede). Chirichella returns to sting and enrolls in the aces festival by putting in two in a row (17-7, 6-0 partial), so Sillah scores to double her opponents (20-10, double digits for the Slovenian at the end with 3 blocks). Panthers concentrated until the end, Daalderop and Munarini give their contribution at the back, the matchpoint of the final 3-0 is Zhu, with the block (25-12). It is the 28th European victory in a row for the yellow-blues, who are waiting to know their quarter-final opponent from the play-offs.

 

The Panthers will return to the field on Sunday 8 February away in Florence against Scandicci (5 pm), for the big match of the 10th return day of the Serie A1 Tigotà.
