Yellow-blue Apoetosis at the Allianz Cloud: Prosecco Doc A. Carraro Imoco wins its ninth Scudetto, the eighth in a row. The Panthers beat Numia Vero Volley Milano 3-0 and in game 4 of the Serie A1 Tigotà Scudetto Finals. L Coach Santarelli’s team plays practically perfect volleyball and sews the tricolor in front of the sold out of the Milanese arena. It is an ultra-luxury 5-star choral performance: the reception travels at 54% with the attack at 51%, in an hour and 17 minutes a clear result arrives that closes the series against a great Milan. It is the 31st trophy in the Prosecco DOC trophy cabinet, which after the match gets the party started.

It is a lightning-fast start for the Panthers, Zhu and Haak’s serve deliver a 3-9 followed by the first time-out called by the opposing bench. Two points by Kurtagic put the hosts up to temperature (7-10), Daalderop enters early for his traditional turn in the second line, while Wolosz involves both central players in attack (8-13), then Fahr unlocks himself at the wall (9-16, 8 points with 71% in attack and 1 block). Egonu and Akimova shorten the disadvantage, Haak pushes Numia back twice (monstrous Swede in the first set with 8 points and 88% in attack), on Wolosz’s block the credits roll on the set (14-21): it is Gabi who delivers the 0-1 at 17-25.
Prosecco DOC maintains the pace in the second set, Chirichella blocks for the first mini-break (2-5), De Gennaro is academic and the Panthers build from his defenses (see three masterful baghers that lead to 8-11 by Daalderop). After a few mistakes on both sides, the show starts again at 10-15: Gabi responds to Egonu, Lanier leaves his arm free and Fahr imitates her (14-19). Adigwe and Sartori are two solutions for the service, the Vero Volley center triggers a double point by Egonu that warms up the home crowd (17-19). Haak restores the distance twice, Gabi pierces the wall on the dribble (20-23, 5 points without errors for the Brazilian in the partial, she will end with 11 centers), Wolosz’s one-handed assist is worth Haak’s 0-2 (22-25).
