(CUOREDARENA PRESS RELEASE)
Wednesday, February 12, on the occasion of the big match where the Pantere will take the field at Palaverde against Numia Vero Volley Milano, the yellow-blue heart will beat for Fondazione Oltre il labirinto in the 15th edition of the Social Day in support of the association, promoted by VTV Volley – Cuoredarena Committee in collaboration with Imoco Volley.
During the championship match, yellow-blue fans can treat themselves to or give someone a beautiful handmade and autographed heart by the Pantere. This year, nearly 200 have been prepared. All proceeds will be donated to the Foundation to support projects dedicated to children and people with autism. The hearts can be purchased at the stall set up in the corridor near the bar inside the sports hall.
A charity event in support of the Fondazione Oltre il Labirinto Onlus from Treviso, which has been dealing with children and young adults with autism since 2009. Oltre Il labirinto was founded in Treviso in June 2009 by some parents of autistic children and is now a nationally recognized entity affiliated with Autism Europe. Over the years, the Foundation has organized training courses, independent living weekends, sports initiation through multi-systemic water therapy, and support for families in family, school, and extracurricular settings. The goal of the Foundation’s activities is to provide concrete and sustainable answers to the future of individuals with autism, designing constructive forms of integration and actual social inclusion for the disabled, and creating permanent residential solutions that allow them to set up a decent and integrated life path even in the prospect of being alone when family support is no longer available. The projects that Oltre il Labirinto Onlus is currently advancing are published on their website www.oltrelabirinto.it.
Event ambassadors are the Pantere GABRIELA BRAGA GUIMARÃES “GABI”, KATJA ECKL, MARINA LUBIAN, ASIA WOLOSZ, and MARTYNA LUKASIK. Before the match starts, there will be the traditional photo on the field with the volunteers and children from Oltre il Labirinto and a representation of Cuoredarena fans. The involvement of the athletes is crucial to set a concrete example of how sports values can coexist with social awareness.
Therefore, not just cheering for VTV Volley – Cuoredarena Committee but also social commitment and support for local associations.
Thanks to Imoco Volley company for sharing and supporting the initiative.
