Prosecco DOC A. Carraro Imoco Conegliano announces the first news with the arrival of Linda Manfredini: the 186 cm Italian midfielder born in 2006 will be Pantera in the 2026-27 season, she will wear the number 5 jersey. Already controlled in her last seasons by Prosecco DOC, Modena and the Italian national team, Manfredini after her apprenticeship in Bergamo is ready to take flight in the yellow-blue next season.
FILE – Born in Modena on May 14, 2006, Linda Manfredini took her first steps in volleyball in nearby Fides Casinalbo, at the age of 8 she joined the youth sector of Anderlini Modena, one of the most flourishing Italian nurseries, a company involved in the Imoco Next Gen project. Soon reported as one of the best prospects, Manfredini made her debut at the age of 14 in the Serie C championship and at 15 in Serie B2. In 22-23, at the age of 16, Linda made her debut in A2 in nearby Sassuolo, attracting the interest of top-flight clubs thanks to her 29 appearances this season. In the following season she was part of the Casalmaggiore team, in A1, in the last two seasons she shone in Bergamo, where she established herself despite her young age as one of the top central players in our championship, finding this summer the consecration in the blue.
NATIONAL TEAM – Manfredini’s path is also marked by successes with the national team, he has always worn the jersey of all the youth selections as an underage player. In 2022 she won the U17 European Championship in the Czech Republic with Italy, while in 2025 she climbed to the top of the world as captain of the Azzurrine as the best central defender in the competition. Manfredini is fresh from her debut with Julio Velasco’s senior national team: on her 20th birthday she won the MVP in the starting test in Biella against France, in the recent AIA Aequilibrium Cup Women Elite in Genoa she was awarded as the best player of the match, in an event of the highest level that also saw Turkey as protagonists, Serbia and Poland.
HER SEASON- The blue central is already one of the best profiles in the role in A1, but she still promises room for improvement given her very young age. In attack she plays well the fast and the first half, she is among the absolute big names of the A1 both on the block and in the serve: in her last season in Bergamo in the Regular Season she collected 55 blocks (6th in the championship) and 33 aces (2nd only behind Antropova). In 29 games this season he scored 262 points with 1.17 winning serves per set and 1.93 point blocks per partial, top numbers.
