DICHIARAZIONI COACH DANIELE SANTARELLI
“It will be the first game after the Club World Cup, there are three important points up for grabs for the Regular Season. We want to redeem ourselves immediately after the final in Sao Paulo, we are working to return to play at the levels we are entitled to, tomorrow is the first step in this direction, the goal is to go home with a good victory. The next games will serve to show that what happened in Brazil coincided with a small misstep, even if it cost us an important trophy that a great opponent like Scandicci won. As for Cuneo, we know that we will find a group that is doing well in the championship, they have excellent strikers who have put anyone in difficulty, they have shown it several times this season. In addition, they will play in front of their own fans against a big team, they will nurture the desire to score points for their standings, they are fighting for a place in the play-offs. We are traveling a lot to keep up with all the appointments of the various competitions: our goal is to reconfirm ourselves, return to show who we are and regain awareness. But I saw the right attitude of the girls in training at the resumption, they want redemption and to do well. I am very confident for tomorrow’s game, but we cannot afford to relax.”
