MONICA DE GENNARO STATEMENTS: “It is the first trophy of the season and we are ready after the work of these months to give our best and go hunting for the first trophy of the season. It will be a good match and we will see where we are against a top opponent like Scandicci. We have played many important matches against them in recent years, but there have been changes in the roster and we also have some differences in the line-up so it is difficult to have an idea of what kind of match it will be, certainly we will give our best to try to bring home the Super Cup that eluded us last year. After this good start to the championship it would be nice to start the season with a trophy, but the unknowns are many and the opponent will have the same desire to win as we do, it will be hard. Playing in the south? I’m pleased, it’s nice that we have managed to reach even regions that don’t usually have high-level volleyball, I expect a lot of enthusiasm and a spectacular setting.”
